Longmoor Lake – California Country Park
Longmoor Lake was dug out in the 19th century for brick making.It is stocked with large Tench over 8lbs, Mirror Carp over 30lbs, Beautiful stock of Mirrors and Commons, average size over 15lbs, Large Pike over 20lbs, Roach, Cruician Carp, Rudd and Perch.
Day fishing tickets are available from car park ticket machines in the car park at site. Fishing is allowed from dawn to dusk. A closed season operates from 15th March to 15th June inclusive.
Longmoor Lake is challenging to fish due to heavy weed coverage with some patches of gravel, making it ideal for PVA Solid Bags & Chod carp rigs
Day Ticket Prices:
Day tickets can be bought from machines in the car park. Season tickets for day angling can be purchased without a waiting list. Night fishing requires joining the syndicate for specimen members via a waiting list (requires a fee).
